I'm going to try to grow some ferns in the crevices of my house's foundation. I've always loved the way that looks.

I use lot's of ferns in my garden as I have a lot of shade. They are pretty easy to grow and multiply all by themselves.

they're perfect if you have a lot of shade & they look nice all season! I wanted to grow some ostrich ferns but zone 7 is too hot for them - you could probably grow them in NC mountains. I'm in northwest GA so it's not like we have Savannah temps, but it's still too humid.

I like that kind of planting lush and green, ferns are just lovely plants! I like plants with large leaves,too!

Lovely ferns. I collected one (off a palm tree) a few days ago. Put it in some soil and placed it in my bathroom. Hope it's happy there.
