I 'm the same, Homebird, I have to grab a leaf to wrap them up in and then put them on the bird table! At least I know they're gone .... : o )

like them - we have a few - remind me of fried eggs - if you have a composter put slugs in there - they break down the waste and their eggs do not survive apparently
