unbelievable the amount of water in all these photos, so sad,

I guess it's not so bad in the case of the quarry, at least the water can run back into the river and, hopefully, dry up again without too much of a problem - the bad part is where the water is up to buildings, it's bound to have caused some damage there...

See you had a spot of rain there then!

There was a fair bit, but i'm sure there's been more rain here with less floods - I think there must have been more rain further up the river and this has come down in the river, spilling over like here...
