we go every thursday about the same time, next time you go if its thursday let me know and we will meet you for a cuppa and chat, went to Aldi after to see what gardening stuff they had, not much there, OH bought some shallots to plant.

Ok Yorkshire ,will do.We usually call in if we are at that side of town,as we like it there,and the cafe..better than some supermarket ones..Its always busy,so it speaks for itself. As you know,we usually go to another supermarket,as I still get 10% discount ..and at sale times its great .Lol. Have you ever tried the farm shop cafe ,near to the Pennine garden centre?..very nice and much cheaper..

Thankyou Paul ,I agree about the flowers too.I bought a bunch about 5 weeks ago,and granted,they are in a cold conservatory,and are just starting to look tatty...never had any so long before...and the price? ..£1.50p !!

Thanks Shirley..tomorrow ? .the Hellebores were planted after I took the photo !..I don't mess around.Lol.The Skimmia is in a planter by the front door for now.Although it didn't say anything on the label,about the type of soil to plant it in,my gardening book states Ericaceous compost,and I have none left..but I will be getting some soon,as need it for top dressing Camelia and Pieris.

Not so much Bloomer as Wonderwoman today then? We had a beautiful sunny day so I planted my new shrubs . Rain forecast for next 3 days . . . saves me watering them! : o )

We had grey foggy damp stuff today,Shirley...till I got home with my plants !..the sun shone just long enough to plant.them..I'm a'can't wait ' person..:o)
Not a good forecast is it ..and going to get colder.,
snow mentioned for the north east and Scotland again too.
I hope they are wrong....
