Mum did you get that Camellia moved? I fear you probably didn't get chance with the weather....has it got lots of buds on?

Karen, they both had lots of buds on them, one is severely damaged by the weather, the other not too bad, I dare not move them in case I stress them out too much. It looks like quite a few of the shrubs/small trees are damaged badly also. The one that I can never remember the name of that has the big catkins (or not as in my case) that is very brown and looks like it is a gonner. The hymalayan honeysuckle looks to have been finished off, and the ceanothus small tree looks very dead, but looking on the bright side I think only 1 of the roses that I bought has not produced a new shoot.

Yes, I think a lot of Ceanothus have perished all over the UK...and Cordylines too. I think both mine are dead, but one at least has green under the surface of the bark, so will leave it for a while to see. Roses are pretty tough though aren't they. I wasn't worried about them.....now I've said that I bet I will lose some! lol ;)

Hope not , just got my birthday treat roses this week, one of them they sent was the wrong one, I have contacted them but not heard back from them yet. I wouldn't have minded too much but it was a Bi-colour and I ordered Pink, hopefully they will send the right one soon.

Yes, I hope so. I've had that problem and I hadn't kept a copy of the order or delivery note, so when it flowered I had no chance of getting a replacement. I ordered a climber, Ginger Syllabub, and got a shrub of the wrong colour. Still, it will be nice in the warm colours bed. I've moved it there and put the new climber on the arch. Never did get my Ginger Syllabub :(

They contacted me today and are sending out the proper rose, they didn't mention what to do with the other one so I have planted it in the garden. ah well I look at it as payment for my trouble yay!
