Lol.....Holly its Clematis 'earnest markham' and C. 'multiblue'.....Its hard to believe, (looking at this mess) the lovely show Earnest gave last year.....Im hoping the rain will stay away 'till i get at it...:>)

It has lots of new growth Homebird......I dont know how im going to untangle it...Maybe i'll just give it a hard prune.....

I chopped some of mine down to the strongest bud today, I had a battle with my 'Old Mans Beard' I mean the Clematis not the OH - it was a bit like this one of yours, very tangled but had to just get in there and go for it. Hope you have managed to get yours chopped down motty
