Sunny Raised Bed

This is the raised bed on the sunnier side of the garden. Had to remove flagstones and a fair bit of concrete to uncover it. Another ceonathus is thriving here and towards the end there is a bronze fennel which attacks my hanging basket at the height of summer. I did have a erm . . Oriental Limelight I think it was called, but it was ridiculously invasive and threatened to take over the whole bed. The acer near the water butt seems very happy in its position. I daren't move that pot!
