thanks, it's now about 12 feet high and spread of 7 feet and arches over my path to the front gate, lovely to walk under.

My goodness and it looks really healthy too with those glossy leaves what do you feed it.

i give it a mulch of ericaceous compost autumn and spring.

That is great do you dig it in or just lie it on top.

just lay it on the top around the trunk, or if you have leaf mould that's just as good.
