only it's 2nd year and it is showing promise. I love the colour of its leaves.

I think its quite hardy,probably would not have come through last winter if there were any question on that.
Two reasons for me keeping them potted one a dog with big feet secondly In a pot i can move it about and make the most of the short period it is in flower.the up side of having it in the ground must be more consistent root temperature's which i think is a big Plus.
I have enough plants to try one outside which i think I will do.

I have just potted two more seedlings of this one that germinated in my sand bed a couple of weeks back.
i must admit i have never tried this one in the open ground though.
