THIS WAS PLANTED LAST YEAR SO I AM EXCITED ABOUT THE FIRST LOT OF BUDS. ONE HAS JUST STARTED OPENING SO CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE TRUE COLOUR OF THE FLOWER IS LIKE. SOME PICTURES SHOW IT TO LOOK YELLOW AND OTHERS SHOW CREAM, SO IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE.

Hi Paul, Homebird and 6d, sorry I've taken a week to answer, but I now the evenings are getting lighter, I am pottering in the garden later, and am not getting on here till later....got to make the most of this lovely weather while we can............. it is probably our summer!!!! The Magnolia has opened now and its a beauty. I have posted some photos of it, it's like a baby yellow.....really lovely.

I Don't blame you Lin enjoy the weather while you can and agree proberbly our summer as I ve noticed over the years good Easter crap summer lol.

Oh , hope not, hope we are both wrong, we certainly deserve a real good summer. we haven't had a decent one for about 3 years I think, or is it longer than that?

Last year was the hottest so they said but I thought it was not that good, to me its been longer than that for a good summer.
