Karen I could resist this beauty if you want a cutting of this you are welcome but I have never done clematis cuttings.

It is definitely my favourite as you know Karen. Both of mine have lots of flowers already on them. So looking forward to it again.

Yes, mine is hardly growing. I am going to get another plant and plant it in less sandy soil in another part of the garden.

Dobbies have a lot of good clematis plants and all their new pots so going to get 2 new pots to replace older ones going to grow herbs in older pots and move them to another part of garden.
Karen I was looking at the David Austin climbing roses as need something for 2nd oblisk .
Oliveoil and Karen this one really stood out for me.

Well, as you know from seeing my front garden, I have invested in quite a lot of new pots this month at Dobbies! lol.....maybe get another Niobe today as I will be passing there later on my way to give some help to a friend with her garden.

I am off to Silica Lodge with Sarah, more plant buying, - mainly hanging basket fillers etc. but want some other plants as well. Have made a long list, so could be a long time, also lunch out, yay!!!!

I went today Kath. I got the last Niobe they had! I've planted it to grow up my metal archway. Also got a Cotoneaster to replace the honeysuckle on the fence, and three little potentillas for the hot border.

Well done you Karen I will pop over on wed am its either a David Austin climbing rose or another clematis.
And the Forfar garden group met tonight at the local garden centre opened late for us and we got discount.
I bought strawberry plants and a trillium chloroptalunm red

I love trilliums but have never had success establishing them. Some woodland plants are hard to get going aren't they.

Yes they do take time but think where mine are growing seems to work well.
I was so thrilled and got 10% off last night.
And yesterday I was pruning off some of the dead bits of one of my clematis and Karen :) cut off a bud so hope it grows have stuck it in water.
Well everyone its pouring of rain but ground and farmers so needing rain.
Ah well shall potter in my greenhouse cant get wet in there .
Shall pot up my new strawberrie plats in baskets and then leave them to grow in greenhouse all summer.
I was going to take a photo of my new trillium today and also was hoping to get it planted up if rain stops I shall.
