put it this way Homebird last December I stood on the wilting one - said oh bother -:D and just buried it - it has grown very healthy and colourful this year. Wondering if the cold had some beneficial rewards for some of the plants in garden - some have thrived better than ever

I lost a california lilac too - they don't live long anyway the california type apparently - we have another one that is becoming greener though - winters we don't need ):
