Thankyou Oliveoil, I have been really chuffed with the Magnolia, its been the first time its flowered and been a beauty.

Paul, did you manage to rescue your tadpoles?

No - I think they're all gone - the pump was on too and I think some have landed in top pool - but they are safest there

Oh, what a shame Paul, but watch out for the birds, they love a meal of tadpoles. The blackbirds eat all ours a few years back, I had to keep shooing them off, but it didn,t do any good, they just kept coming back, and in the end they had the lot.

yes the birds are too frequent - and the fish eat the others - shame but we already have at least 8 frogs :D hope yours are okay - like to see the progress of them growing

I'll keep my eye on them Paul and try to keep you updated if I can get any more photos. I love to see the different stages they go through.
