Oh, no doubt about that Mum!

they don't go mad for me, I keep trying to encourage them but they just seem to be a stray here and there. I know they can become a nuisance but never have here.

Ive never grown them, but my neighbour and friend Janet has and her garden is FULL off the seedlings!

Your colour the flower, it is very pretty, I like the seed pods also, gossamer like and being able to see the seed fascinates me. Love them. But suppose I love anything that is simple and cottagey.

Yes, it is a real cottage garden plant. I'm not fond if I'm honest......sorry!

that's ok Karen, it would not do for everyone to like the same things. We all have different ideas and want different things in our gardens. We had our dinners out there tonight, but by golly it has turned cold. We have all gone indoors now. Another nice day forecast for tomorrow though, so back out we will go again. Got the grass cut today and did a bit of weeding. Been in the veggie plot and planted spring onions and broad beans and got my wigwam ready for my runner beans. Tired now though, early night methinks, knee sore from walking yesterday and from gardening today. Old age is creeping up on me and I don't like it, more aches and pains every time I go and do something I start to hurt, get cramp a lot as well, quite a funny site, Paul hops out of bed one side with cramp then I am stretching the other side. Two old codgers together. lol.

Synchronised cramping! lol...you take care, you need to look after your self.

They are really easy to grow from seed Olive. Collect them and try, I grew them and planted them out in 2 huge patches, they look great.

I have a packet of seed for you Mum! It came with my Garden mag today in the post and I had to laugh! I'll send it on...you'll probably get one too, but with a garden your size I'm sure you can find a space for them, or perhaps Sarah will. What kind of plants does she like mum?

she likes what I like and what you like, she is into Clematis lol. She hasn't got a big garden, probably a good job because she has not got a lot of time to spare to do gardening, by the time she gets home from school at 5 ish and then has the dog to walk and tea to get ready, doesn't leave much spare time for her. She has been out gardening today took her some sand over to level off and put down some slabs for a new seat arch she bought. She has it done and was off to buy some clematis from the gc after she rang to tell me she had done it.

I too laughed when I opened up my magazine and found honesty seeds, I knew you would have some also. lol. I will plant them, got just the spot for them.

Beautiful weather here again today. Hope you gettting sunshine also.

We did get some Mum...but mostly cloudy because of sea mist. Nicer in the evening and I went out and planted new shrubs and then watered everything. I like watering, it gives me a chance to look at everything properly. Two little shoots of Orchids peeping through the soil today!! I have just taken cuttings of Clematis 'Love Child'. I shall put Sarah's name on one!
