Pine Cones 1

My oh and I sat having a cuppa the other evening, sun was shining on our Christmas tree, large christmas tree, huge christmas tree, he said what is that red shining on the branches, when I went to investigate it is covered in pine cones, they are maroon red tipped and I have never seen them like this before, dozens on there, had odd ones fall off onto floor, but it is covered at the top. Think it must be 40 ft tall now, it is truly amazing, much too big but very loved. It was one someone gave me out of their garden when they moved house. I hate plants/trees not being saved, had a go with it and eh presto, it would need a lot of fairy lights to light this up at christmas time.

But it would look fantastic lit up :o))
