This is as far as we got before the heavens opened again ..... work was interrupted. The rain hasn't stopped since, so I am taking the opportunity to put together a blog. The forecast is better for later in the week so we hope to finish soon.

Glad that you have made a start you wont regret it when its finished. You can then reap all the rewards later, a bumper crop of toms, cues, salad etc.

Xela- Did you get your greenhouse finished? I was looking for the end product. I've read that you've had an awful lot of rain. Hope that it let up enough for you to finish. I'd love to see a photo when it's done. Good luck :)

Many thanks for your interest.
Yes, we finally got it finished spurred on by the windy weather we had earlier this autumn .....didn't want the winds to scatter the glazing across the neighbourhood and leave my plants exposed to the elements. We had to replace a glass pane (on the nearest corner in this photo) not long after finishing it. The rain was so heavy it swept a large apple off the tree straight through the glass roof.
I have a louvre window on my Christmas wish list to improve the circulation of air inside but Paul says the fit of the door allows for that!
This coming week is going to be a very busy one for me, precious little time for gardening, but I have promised myself some time in the garden with the camera soon. I will post an 'after' photo then.
