Illicium floridanum - 2011

American shrub, up to eight feet tall, requiring a humusy, lime free soil in sun or part shade. The flowers are about a couple of inches across. Supposedly only hardy to -5C, this was planted in early 2007 and has now reached two feet and flowered for the first time for me
