From memory about two to three weeks, depending on how hot and sunny the weather is (it comes from South Africa so prefers full sun and well-drained soil)

Andrew your Gladi is a Tristis hybrid,i grow Tristis and it is a light yellow.I will try and find a pic of mine for comparison.

Yes, David, I know it is not the specie plant. I have seen it growing in the wild in South Africa and they are not this colour
