Val this isn't an evergreen it starts leafing up quite early in the year,and it always gives a brilliant show of flowers.

Stunning. I have a bit of fence that needs something growing on. I've tried honeysuckle and some of the large flowering clematis but they never caught on, I want to try something more vigorous there. I've considered montana for it, this picture is definitely convincing! :-)

Hi Columbine, thanks for your comments. The Montana definately gives a lovely show without having to do too much to it, but if you decide on this, can I suggest that you plant both the Montanna Rubens (light pink) and Montanna Broughton (darker pink) and let them mingle amongst each other. If you want to see them together go onto my photos and you will see them on there under that title. They look very pretty.

Back again Columbine, there is 2 photos on page 1 and I made a BooBoo on the title, it was supposed to be '.Montana Broughton STAR'........(Probably a senior moment.....AGAIN)...Sorry!!

Lol Lin, they look great mixed together. Got Montana Rubens couple of days ago :-) I'll also get Broughton Star when I see it for good price, they just look great in your photos.

I also like the Montana Alba (white) I would like to mingle that in with the Broughton Star aswell. Pleased you liked the photos Columbine, and Good Luck searching for your B/Star.
