Narcissi, daffodils, lily of the valley, poppy, verbena(think) lillies, delphiniums, anenomes, lupin, monarda, all sorts, day lillies come to the edge also. probably too much for you, but I like the way the plants grow through each other, they hide the dying leaves of the daffs and narcissi. Although I will go along in a few weeks and tidy the dead stuff out. Not sure whether it is verbena or veronica, lol. I am hopeless with remembering plants, but it is tall and spikey and lovely when it is flowering because it seems to flower for ages.

Veronica then I think, if it's spikey. Verbena has little flat heads of flowers that attract the butterflies.

Its not that you're hopeless Mum, its just that you're not interested in the names like me. I just love them, thats why I remember them.....most of the time!! My new Sinocalycalycanthus.....I just love that name! Some people drop one of the caly's but the double caly is what makes it so much fun!!...mad, mad, mad....I just can't help myself!! :))))
