Could you explain the photo please?

Lol. Isn´t it clear enough?
(It was exhibition of artists in the park. Different statues and this was one of their compositions. I do not understand the meaning of sculpture as well. This photo just suits to today´s name.)

There is certainly something very melancholy about the pianos.

If I think about it, yes, you are right. I mostly have melancholic mood, when listening to piano. But the mood, which does not destruct. Somebody can be more alone in a disco roar.

Ah, well, you see Katarina, I really meant the pianos in the picture, not pianos generally. Having said that, I think I know what you mean. Then again, you wouldn't feel melancholy listening to a pianist play Debussy's 'Cakewalk' or Chopin's 'Heroic' Polonaise...you couldn't, they are far too happy!
