Thank you Meanie. I was given a lovely book on flower photography for Xmas, that, a macro lens and Paint Shop Pro are responsible for the photo.

What camera and macro are you using?

A Nikon D5000 and Sigma 105mm F2.8 DG Macro. The latter is a good lens though limited, ie I can't use the autofocus, however as most macro-photography is done with manual focus not a great drawback.
