I was recently told that it's an effective way to combat ground elder, although whether there's any truth in it.......

well i know which i would prefer! having had a garden with ground elder! lilies of the valley seem to take a while to get established here

Nice photo........Yes, Very invasive, I weed mine to control the clumps and pop the stems of flowers in a small glass vase, they look and smell lovely!

ive got slightly acidic and very free draining soil.

Its lovely got some my self.
