Achillea ptarmica

It took me some time to identify this close up as an Achillea ptarmica - it looks so different from the usual view of it!

The flowers are actually quite small - in clusters. It is a short plant, less than a foot in height. Flowering in August, so quite useful. I find it spreads - pops up where I don't expect it! I wish I could send you a bit...

That would have been so cool but I think customs still frown on that lol However it has inspired me to go and look for it
