paul - with help from friends on this site its been named as Butterbur (common name). It can spread quickly so I have installed a root barrier. Just recently all of its magnificant leaves have been ripped to shreads in a hail storm :-(((. Further info see my Feb blog "a nice surprise".

I remember now seeing that - such a shame ): - it looks like the rocket Lig but loads bigger - must get one of these too :):):)

Last week I removed all the damaged leaves, and incredibly its grown new ones already as nig as ever :-)
