Back patio pots

Great Acer bargain Annella...they are so expensive, my sister and me shared a 4 pack last year, they were only small but coming on well, worked out at £3 each plant...:>)

Looks great...that Acer, what a bargain!! One of my Hydrangeas survived the winter not too badly, the other one had tiny, tiny shoots on it, but I decided to get rid as I needed the pot for my Dahlias and I didn't think it would come back very well, it was growing soooooo slowly!

i cant seem to grow Hydrangeas ~ dont know why, i could probably try in a pot but i wanted it in the garden

Wow thats a bargain considering the price at GC`s, have to keep an eye on our local Morrison`s....

Morrisons have some lovely ones in Wellingborough Lincs, I will buy some more soon (pay day Lol)
Sticki mine do better in pots here, you could always put a big pot in your border and move it in the winter. I think this one is in the biggest pot now so it will have to stay there.

Yes, I agree. I moved one into my border and it died...not enough shelter from the wind. I have two in the border, but in a much more sheltered spot. I think it's the wind more than the rain that gets them. In a pot you can move it in to more shelter during autumn and winter. I also think they look wonderful in pots.
