Love the look of the texture to the leaves.

I got the dark leaves as the slugs dont get them as much, although i have to keep going round and getting rid of the snails.

Monty Dom said copper or Cumfrey leaves around your plants or pots deters them he finds the Cumfrey leaves work a treat they eat them instead of the plants place at the bottom of plant in your case the pot. I have also heard vaseline works putting around the bottom of the pot and the rim.

Thanks i remember him saying something like that the other night, mind you on saying that i dont have any cumfrey, i do put vasline round the rim and it does help alot put they still try getting over it, i get loads every morning round the top near the vasline :(

Apparently they are thick and coarse..not nearly as palatable as the crisper ones! This one is a beauty
