I love this variety but, sadly, mine has decided to die off to nothing this year! Had him about eight years so perhaps I shouldn't grumble!

I can see myself doing the same ... it's such a gorgeous Clematis and flowers at least twice a season.

I found my first one was slow to start then it was lovely.I made sure to plant this one deeper and it seems happier straight off.
