My tufa bed

Growing in the tufa rocks are:Primulas,campanulas,Pulsatilla,Asperula,saxifrages, Sempervivum,Erinus,Gypsophila,Armeria and Draba

It's actually only half that,4ft x 3 ft,with the rear 8 or 9 inches having some shade lovers.The wooden frame encloses this bed and my other 2 alpine beds but is in a serious state of disrepair.

Paul,if you mean the two shades of green ,slightly left of centre,they are saxifrages.There is a close up of them on p,7 of my pics with one in full flower.

Yes - I put Saxifraga near pond rocks for that effect - they're so nice :):)

How large is it ?,looks about 8x6 i like the way you have retained it within the wooden frame this has undoutably kept things wedged together as they would be in nature.
