Crocus Rose

No, but from the inside of the house they appear to !! The scent enters the bedrooms through the open windows and we wake up to the sight of the abundant blooms every morning. The first flush is magnificent and a joy to behold from both sides of the border ! I love the flowing 'Monet' colors we can view through the lace curtains . When the Lilies join the Roses it really is 'WOW' :). Later, the Dahlia rise above the roses and they form a sea of peaches creams and pale yellow , gently undulating in any light breeze. Tall spiky cactus headed delicately nodding blooms which last until the first frosts . If you are within travelling distance do come and see the garden if we open next year . The National Gardens Scheme (Gardens open for charity)'yellow ' book should be available at garden centres from Feb/March 2012
