Known as Fox and Cubs or Orange Hawkweed, this ia a garden escape that grows in the wild in Britain. It spreads rapidly by stolons and may also self-seed. But it is good in hot, dry, poor soil - it is growing right against the trunk of my 18 year old wisteria

Yes, you have to keep an eye on it to avoid it becoming too rampant in the right conditions. At least the flowers are bright orange so it is easy to spot when it flowers

It grew out of the walls and everywhere. I like the colour but it was sometimes a nuisance.
