This Hydrangea was planted 20 years ago. I've heard that they take a long time to get established. It's really come into its own in the last few years but didn't do very well for quite a while.
I hope you managed to get a satisfactory ID on that Campanula in the end. I couldn't put a name to it myself, but I could tell some things that it wasn't :-)

Kind of you to try Beattie. My Campanula has been identified as Campanula Persicifolia so I am now looking for more. I'm wondering if I can split them and if so when?

This looks good. I had a Petiolaris for 7 years and it never flowered. I wonder why. Thank you for your comment on my Campanula. Very helpful.
