Lin, the foliage is a darkish green and the flowers are a paler green, they don't look like obvious flowers, if you know what I mean. They've finished flowering now so I can't get you a picture but I've looked it up in my RHS book and I think it's a helleborus argutifolius. They sell locally for £4.99 each and the original one was a 'freebie' from the birds. They're spreading profusely so I'm digging them out and giving them away! Would you like some seeds when they're ready ?

Thanks very much for the kind offer Sheilar, I have only one Helleborus and this is the one I have, but thanks again.I'm sure you will find members or neighbours who haven't got this one who would be pleased to have some as they are very pretty. Enjoyed browsing through your piccys, you have some lovely roses....beautys! :o))
