Grown from mixed packet of aquilegia seeds

It is really pretty - four different colours so far out of this packet of seeds planted last year. One orange and yellow, and two different shades of pink with yellow centres and this lemon one.

All shades pinks, purples, white, yellows, mixtures frilly skirts lots of pictures on here Jeanette for you to see the different kinds. Pleased you looked they are amazing plants, very very pretty. Have a go at them from seed, I found them easy, but I know that they do not like moving, you have to be careful not to damage their tap root system.

thanks for the info olive, the purply plants I inherited with this garden didn't do well this year...but I'm looking for ideas for new front-garden planting, will bear these in mind! :-)

Think the frost got to some of my purple ones too Jeanette, they are not as prolific as they were the year before, but the one good thing is that the seeds from the previous year have sprutted and so hopefully next year they will be back thick and bright again.
