Meconopsis punicea - 2011

You may have seen this plant mentioned on the TV coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show; I saw it at Inverewe garden in Scotland last year.
Needs a moist soil in shade. Grows to about a foot tall. Perennial in moist areas, but annual in drier ones. I'm hoping it will now self seed
