buds starting to colour up , will be open soon.

that is such a shame. I found a pair on one lily but they got crushed. I then checked all the leaves and found a clutch of bright red eggs. they went the same way.
still there is always next year.

Yes,sbg, i got loads of beetles off everytime i checked it which was probably daily, but never thought to look for the lavae, have you seen my picture of it!
