The Bottom garden 31.05.11

I got a lovely new shrub today Annie, you'd like it. It's an evergreen variegated Buckthorn relative...can't remember the name, but I'll take a pic tomorrow. I'm very pleased with it, it fills another gap and will eventually grow up to 5m so perfect for neighbour hiding! Sorry, forgot to say your garden is just looking wonderful..even better than last year in spite of the winter!

The colours never come out the same as they really are at this time of the evening Karen + I need a nice camera, but thank you and will look at your pics tomoz

yes, I know what you mean. I think my camera would struggle too...it's the contrast between bright sunshine and shade, it always beats a camera. I'm finding that shady days are best for pics, and also indoors, in glasshouses. They come out well in that level of light.
