Spring onion from last year harvested. Photo taken on a glass table, hence the sky background.

Put the seeds in late last summer Amy. Picked them yesterday along with some onions and leeks. Kept some for salad and made leek and potato soup with spring onion. It just seems to taste better fresh out of the garden.

My very favourite soup Leek and potato I make loads in the winter ,Yummy ! it's always best home grown !
