H. Caramel

Had the same problem with my Heuchera 'Blackberry Jam'. It wasn't putting on much growth and when I gave it a gentle pull it came out of the ground with barely a root left on it! Recovering now, but my fingers are crossed! Little bug***s aren't they? :-(

Those vine weevils must like Jam and Caramel!! It would make a good gardeners party game to come up with Heuchera names that might put them off. At least not any that are postable on GoY.
