we do a lot of walks around the peak district as its only an hour away.of all the places dovedale walking by the river is perfection of nature, in summer and also in winter.
the growth of trees out of the cliffs and water plants etc is amazing.but even on a hot day the water is so cold you cannot keep your feet in it long.
