I believe thay come from china originally (please correct me if i'm wrong) they are bought as young plants but dont often survive the winter. But since I have managed to grow two different types in the last two years I now feel up to a challenge and I can let you know in a couple of years.

I brought 1 last year Trees&Things &thought it had died,But when i was weeding in April time i found abunch of Roots Growing so i potted them up not knowing what would come of them & its the Primula Viali id brought last yr :)

They are a great looking flower, are they as easy to grow as most primulas?
