Garden wall

We managed to save this poor wisteria after the bad winter last year. Previous owners had grown it in a small pot and it was badly damaged by the snow and frosts. We've planted it against our garden wall and luckily it seems to be enjoying life now. We haven't had any flowers this year (hardly surprising after what it's been through) but fingers crossed it will show us what it's got next year.

Even if it doesn't flower for years, I always love the look of wisteria leaves. I bought 2 wisteria amethyst falls as they flower very young and are not too vigorous so suited to a small garden. Unfortunately they don't have the lovely long dangles that other types do, more of a blob, and they don't smell very nice either. Oh well...you can't have everything:-)
