Are these difficult to grow Denise? They had some in my local Lidl for £4.99 but dunno whether they need overwintering, I prefer plants to stay outside (no room).

I find it so Sheilar and every year (about 8 years)I think it could go! but then it flowers and I forgive it. Put it this way I would never have another, not enough reward for the space it takes. It over winters in the garden ok but a bad winter holds back the leaves by a couple of months. I grow mine in a sunny sheltered spot in clay.

I moved this one after about 4 years to a sunnier spot it then took 2 years to flower.

It does take its time to flower. I moved mine to a sunnier spot too and it didn't flower for another couple of years. I agree, D - I wouldn't have another one either. The flowers are nice but don't last too long.
