Thanks, M. It's an interesting and unusual plant. It would be a lovely plant even if it didn't flower, as the foliage is great. I put the heavy duty slug/snail pellets around it, and thankfully no new damage. (It must be regarded as gourmet food in the slug world, as there are lots of 'casualties' around the base of plant!)
