Thank you very much, it is a work in progress. We had an allotment for the past 5 years and sadly neglected our own garden. After packing the allotment up, i have been able to concentrate more on the garden.

Do you find those tall trees at the back a mixed blessing?

THey really are a mixed blessing. Beautiful to look at, providing loads of shelter. On the down side they block out so much sun and soak up so much water. But now i think about it, i would much rather have them than not.....even though the owner doesn't tend them !
