This is a shot of one of my Mums succulent gardens. It contains a variety of succulents which we are gradually expanding to fill the entire bed. The garden contains several types of Aeonium, Echeveria, Graptopetalum, Sedum and Sedeveria.
Most of the Aeonium are located at the rear of the garden, the most prominent ones being A. Kiwi (or Tricolour) which is small shrub with cream and green rosettes and the single large rosette of A. cv Sunburst at the center left of the photo. There are other green and black Aeoniums behind them, one of which is producing a yellow flower spike.
This photo was taken in mid-winter which is the growing season for Aeoniums and the Aeoniums' colours are at their best . The A. Tricolour is one of the mainstays of my mum's garden.
