It has for me Moti, although it's very hit and miss. You would have more control sowing some into a pot and nursing them for a few years to flowering size. :-)

Perhaps i would have a better chance doing that Muddy....If i pot them now and put into a cold-frame, when, do you think should i expect to see some 'life'?...

Spring I reckon - they'll look like tiny individual Chives. Don't forget Moti, patience is a virtue! ;-)
