Yes, they do!! That photo was taken a while back, round about Christmas time. I sent it to a friend of mine (not a bird lover), and she was so impressed at how plump these birds were that she sent me a message saying that I wouldn't have to shop for a turkey for the big day and that, looking at their size, I would still have enough left for sandwiches on Boxing Day!! Oh, cruel!!! : o )))))

That's always an option!!! Berry flavoured pigeons! lol

Lovely to have birds like that coming in Constance. I also had heaps coming in with a bird bath and enough food for them but now, with many homeless cats to look after,
it's a tricky situation. Still, they come and build nests in my small trees near my door and twice, the ending was not that good. Best is not to allow them to build or else I have to guard them 24 hours a day! I have removed the bird bath too for this reason. You can't have it all. Thank you Constance. Hope you will post more of this kind. Our younger generation should be encouraged to look after all living beings. That is how we can stop all the violence
