I know, W...It's in the neighbour's garden. I worry about it in the wind! But the good thing is, in a storm it's likely to fall the other way! Hopefully!

Lets hope so...still, if it is healthy it should be fine....they are meant to be on mountain sides aren't they...and its plenty windy there.

I suspect that you are both right, KS and W...it must have been there for donkeys years! Probably it's too big to blow over...Storms tend to just take the tops off trees like this, I think?
But, like you J...there's that little nagging doubt...
