Lovely and small flowered, this is perched in the porch boxes under the schizanthus and before the black cloth I hung to fill the void beneath the porch. Had to show since it is lovely even behind dollar princess in the previous pic.

Greenthumb yes one of my favourite fuchsias my basket of la campenella is still full of flowers.
Most of my fuchsias I pruned back at weekend in preparation of storing for overwintering.
I shall update my photo later of la campenella.

Thank you both. It just goes and goes, I love all that do that. Would still be going if it weren't frozen already.....lol.

is that true? is it really freezing there already??

Oh yes. Its been below 0C for two weeks at night and now the highs are just 1-2C. First snow flurries have come every morning for three days but hasn't stuck everywhere yet. Should be next week when we go white. This is actually late I think. We had a long growing season this year.

life must be so very different from here. but the good things is i expect you all cope with the snow!!! everything comes to a near standstill here.

People here don't stop for anything. We had freezing rain for two days last year, on top of the snow. SO many cars off the road, because no one just closes or stays home. Almost like crazy people......lol. (I went to work). I still your humid chills and wet ice are worse and far colder feeling than our deep freezes.

You could be right, its all how you feel; i went to work too ~ 5 am and in 7 inches of snow!

I'm green of envy... would love to see snow again, last time was May, this year, a little amount on the Andes mountains

That sounds lovely Aleyna. We don't appreciate as much since it covers everything half the year. But I was out on a glacier a few weeks ago and the whole climate changed from the ice. It was really powerful. I'm sure that is how it must feel on your rare visits.

I was going to bring in cuttings but just ran short on time. Those I chose for bringing in got so large I'm not sure even the cuttings would have found a spot this year.
